On Tuesday, December 12th, 10 – 11am, Growing Readers Together will be hosting a webinar with Ashleigh Kirk, Colorado Outreach Director for Bright By Three.
Bright by Three’s mission is “to provide a bright beginning for all Colorado children by helping families support their children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development during the critical first three years of life.” The services are available in both English and Spanish, and are provided with absolutely no cost to participants. Bright by Three also operates Bright by Text, which is a program for parents and caregivers of children under five that sends free activities, games, and resources directly to their cell phones. Messages are targeted to the child’s age and include information on child development, language and early literacy, health and safety, behavioral tips, and more. Come learn about these innovative programs, and explore the potential for partnership between Bright by Three and public libraries across our state!
