In and out of the library, children are being cared for by grandparents, siblings, neighbors, and babysitters who have a wide range of experience and access to early learning opportunities. Recognizing and honoring these Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) caregivers can change the way we offer programs, conduct outreach, and talk to caregivers. This session will explore why FFN caregivers are an essential piece of the childcare puzzle, how to engage them in library programming, and showcase some best practices from Growing Readers Together.
