2019 National Teen Video Challenge Winners

Teens produced videos about this year's summer learning theme, 'A Universe of Stories!'

Congratulations to the winners of the 2019 CSLP Teen Video Challenge celebrating Summer Reading and “A Universe of Stories!” including Colorado’s very own Emi Otsuki and Avon Public Library! The three other national winners are Kora Clauser and Cape Ann County Library (New Jersey), Eva Noelle Weekley-Hatley and Blount County Public Library (Tenessee), and Hannah and Rachel Dozier and Georgetown Public Library (South Carolina) – well done all!

Sponsored by the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP), the national CSLP Teen Video Challenge invited teens, 13-18, to create short videos (up to 60 seconds long) that promote reading and using the library to other teens, and include an interpretation of the 2019 summer learning theme, A Universe of Stories. There were 58 entries from 16 states, and 4 national winners were selected by a panel of judges from across the country. Each winning teen team will receive a $200 cash prize, and their supporting library will received a $50 gift certificate to the CSLP store.
