Meet and greet some of your favorite local authors at Loveland Public Library’s Local Author Showcase, November 10 from 1:30 to 4:30.
CU Boulder University Libraries invites you to Mapping Home / Collecting Truths: Works by Indigenous and International Artists, showing now through end of December at the Jerry Crail Johnson Earth Science & Map Library. Join them for a reception and panel discussion on November 15 at 4:00 pm.
Get to know three local artists—photographer Leigh Holloway, wood sculptor Will Jansma, and photographer Jim Greene—at Buena Vista Public Library’s Artist Reception, November 9 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
Grand County Library District is hosting an exhibit, The Art of Margaret Watts and Nancy Goes, October 1 through November 30 at Granby Library. All works are mixed water and papers on canvas.
Celebrate the cultural diversity of the Grand Valley at Mesa County Library’s Culture Fest, November 2 & 3. The event features a juried art show, classical guitar music, dance performances, and even the library’s own Well Read wine!

Enjoy this special time of year with your friends at the library. Summit County Library invites teens to a special Friendsgiving Dinner, November 14 at 5:30 pm at the South Branch Library.
Vail Public Library is celebrating the life and works of Jane Austen throughout November. Join them on November 13 at 4:30 for High Tea Embroidery, an afternoon of stitching, tea drinking, and discussing Austen’s Mansfield Park.
Fun & Games
Pitkin County Library will join thousands of libraries in celebrating International Games Week, November 5–10. Participants can choose from Dungeons & Dragons, Catan, Wii Just Dance, an escape room, and a variety of board games. See the events calendar for times.
Westminster Public Library’s Teen Dungeons & Dragons Club will meet on November 10 at 1:00 pm at the College Hill branch. Come learn this exciting game of swords, sorcery, and adventure.
Enjoy gaming year-round at Bud Werner Memorial Library’s Chess for Kids at the Library. The group meets every Saturday at 9:15 am. Children of all skill levels, ages 8 and up, are welcome to attend.
Join Denver Public Library in celebrating International Games Week with an afternoon of video games, board games, group games, prizes and more. Kids and teens are invited to the event at the Rodolfo “Corky” Gonzales Branch Library, November 4 at 2:00 pm.

Lyons Regional Library is hosting Youth Mental Health First Aid, November 10 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This program “teaches participants the risk factors and warning signs of a variety of mental health challenges that are common among adolescents and young adults.” Register online.
Don’t have time for a book club? Join the Stanley Reading Club from Aurora Public Library. Participants read a short story at the beginning of each meeting (provided by the library), then discuss! Join the meeting at November 9, 11:00 am, at the Stanley Marketplace.
Learn how to manage pain and improve the quality of life for your pet with osteoarthritis. Delta County Libraries will host a presentation by animal physical therapist Barbara Guse on November 8 at 6:00 pm at Paonia Library.
Rampart Library District is hosting Letters Home: A History of War Through Letters, an exhibit of wartime correspondence, journals, scrapbooks, photos, and memorabilia from the Mexican American War through Desert Storm. The exhibit will be on display at Woodland Park Public Library November 1 through December 30.
