Kelly Hopkinson in her Learn to Shine Bright TED Talk in 2018, emphasizes the importance of educator self-care. “Start a journal, Tell yourself you are enough, drink water, exercise, try yoga, practice random acts of kindness, ask for support.” She asks “Why bother doing all these things?” “Because YOU are Exquisite!” You’re light needs protecting!” Need a reminder? DecTech School of Mines
DECtech is a Colorado School of Mines outreach program designed especially for girls! National Literacy Virtual Summit
