The 2019 Colorado Association of Libraries Conference (CALCON) includes a 2-day Trustee Track, along with a special registration rate for trustees. This track includes program sessions targeted at public library boards (for both district and non-district libraries), as well as general conference keynotes, awards, lunches, and networking opportunities.
A highlight of daily events in the Trustee Track is included below. Many sessions will also be of interest to library management. The Trustee Track will take place Friday-Saturday, September 20-21. Please encourage board members from your library to attend at least one day of CALCON.
There will be a drop-in Trustee Welcome session on Friday and Saturday morning, which is open to all trustees. Fans and friends of trustees are also welcome to attend. Grab a cup of coffee in the hall, and then make your way to the Board Room to meet fellow trustees, ask questions about the conference, and get trustee-specific conference tips.
Single day registration is $95, full 3-day conference registration is $200. Lunch, coffee, and snacks are provided each day. Registration is open now.
CALCON is the premier statewide annual professional development event for libraries of all types. Learn more at the conference website.
A great conference to help board members – both newly appointed and existing – to stay abreast of library trends, challenges and successes.
