Learning Edge November #1

It’s November, National Gratitude Month! “Practicing gratitude can lessen stress, improve physical health, bolster relationships, and create a culture of collaboration and respect. Gratitude has also been proven to enhance empathy, boost self-esteem, and reduce aggression. For students, cultivating a sense of thankfulness can even improve learning outcomes.” GoGuardian

Create opportunities for students in your classroom to understand and express gratitude through journaling, making a gratitude list, artwork, and more. For some ideas, read the articles for ideas at TeachHub, Edutopia, Berkeley’s Greater Good, and Common Sense Education.
