InnEdCO 2019 – Learning Academies & Keynotes at Keystone, Oh My!!
InnEdCO announces Gitanjali Rao as a keynote speaker. She is 13 years old and is an 8th grader at STEM School Highlands Ranch in Highlands Ranch, CO. She was named America’s Top Young Scientist of 2017 by the Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge, with a patent-pending device to detect lead in water faster than any other current techniques.

CDE maintains a pool of talented classroom leaders who are considered distinguished teachers and principals in their communities. These educators may be candidates for advisory boards, task forces, and special recognition programs. CDE is seeking confidential recommendations for candidates to add to its talent pool. Primary Sources Workshop May 18th
The Colorado Department of Education, History Colorado, and Teaching with Primary Sources Western Region are hosting a workshop for elementary teachers and librarians. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to analyze and then curate primary sources to be used in their own classroom. Content and skills will focus on Colorado Academic Elementary Social Studies and Literacy standards. Free Lunch and coffee provided. Registration and information at TPS workshop.

CS-FAST Colorado School of Mines
CS-FAST is a curriculum developed specifically for Colorado elementary school teachers that offers a Fundamental Approach to Standards Training (FAST). This 1-day elementary school teacher training is being offered for free by Colorado School of Mines, thanks to a collaboration with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE). Visit CS-FAST to find out when these trainings are taking place. Participating teachers also have the opportunity to receive a stipend (up to $250) from CDE.
