The Denver Museum of Nature & Science’s Teen Science Scholars (TSS) application open for a paid, summer internship that provides hands-on experience with the Museum’s Science Division staff in the areas of Anthropology, Conservation, Digital Imaging, Education Collections, Entomology, and Zoology. SchoolSafety.gov

A school safety website is now available through the joint efforts of the U.S. departments of Education, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, and the Justice Department. SchoolSafety.gov was created “to provide schools and districts with actionable recommendations to create a safe and supportive learning environment where students can thrive and grow.” (SchoolSafety.gov)  The website also provides guidance, grants, and training opportunities offered by the federal agencies along with third-party resources. Cyberbullying resources have also been provided.

National Clean Out Your Computer Day

Observed on the second Monday in February, National Clean Out Your Computer Day is a day to take some time out of your busy schedule to do needed care on your computers.

Over time, files and programs that are unused on your PC clog the memory and slow down retrieval and use of other data.  Spend some time with your computer and give it a good cleaning!
What to Do!
Take a look at your files and programs on your computers:

  • Organize your files and folders.
  • Delete junk files.
  • Delete duplicate files.
  • Delete old files and programs not being used.
