Rocky Mountain PBS Partnership Opportunity

Rocky Mountain PBS (RMPBS) and the Colorado State Library (CSL) are partnering to support RMPBS’ program, Colorado Classroom: Learn with Me at Home, this fall; this program provides literacy lessons on Colorado PBS stations and online for kids in grades K-3, which began this summer and will continue this fall. These lessons are accompanied by excellent hands-on materials on the RMPBS website for families to use to further their children’s learning, but of course not all families are able to access and print these educational materials. Through this partnership, RMPBS and CSL invite your library to help distribute materials that accompany the Colorado Classroom lessons to children and families engaging in the program by either printing copies when patrons request them, or distributing copies that RMPBS provides to interested libraries.

To learn more about RMPBS’ Colorado Classroom and this opportunity to distribute program materials to your patrons, please watch this 50 minute archive of a recent webinar on the subject: https://rmpbs.zoom.us/rec/share/6d1kH_ao9URIaJ3ztx6GVKoQH6rLaaa823dL_fsMyhsCULfTS1ACytMdYTzLW6gr

This is an opt-in project. Choosing to participate means distributing printed lessons and worksheets to children and parents while the program is airing, beginning September 7 and running for 15 weeks. Libraries that choose to participate will be recognized on RMPBS materials. RMPBS is also developing messaging and banners for website, social media and email blasts for participating libraries to share in their communities.

If you’re interested in participating in the project, please use this link to complete a short opt-in form: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/11ac6e0137ed4a35a49ae3132f7abc1f.
