East Morgan County Library is celebrating Veterans Day with a special TAG Trivia event. If you’re a veteran or know a veteran, come put your knowledge to the test with TAG Team Trivia with a Veteran, November 11 at 1:30 pm. Details are on their Facebook page.

Boulder Public Library is celebrating being named the 2016 Colorado Library of the Year by the Colorado Association of Libraries. Visit the Main Library or any of the branches on Monday, November 21 between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm for music, light refreshments, and a thank-it-forward activity for Thanksgiving week. Poudre River Public Library District is hosting a Harry Potter-inspired Butterbeer Brew-Off for teens in grades 6-12. Come bring your best butterbeer entry and enjoy trivia on Saturday, November 12 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the Old Town Library. One lucky entry will win the People’s Choice Award!

Calling all artists in Mesa County: consider applying for the 2017 970West Studio Artist in Residence program at Mesa County Libraries. The program will accept three artists in 2017 for terms of approximately 15 weeks each. Application deadline is November 11, 2016. Full details about eligibility and application requirements are available on the library’s website.

Loveland Library is hosting its second annual Local Authors Showcase on Saturday, November 12 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Come meet 50 of your favorite northern Colorado authors.

The town of Woodland Park is turning 125! To celebrate, the Woodland Park Public Library is hosting an event on Saturday, November 12, 2016, featuring a concert at 1:00 pm and a performance of the Legendary Ladies at 2:00 pm.

Anythink Brighton is hosting an opening reception for Discover Health, an opportunity for community members of all ages to explore healthy living and the body through interactive experiences. The reception is on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The exhibit will be open through January 4, 2017.
