Colorado Teen Lit Conference 2016

CO Teen Lit Conf LogoThe Colorado Teen Literature (“Teen Lit”) Conference is a popular annual event where authors and young people gather to discuss their passion for books and reading.

This year’s conference is April 2, 2016 in the Tivoli Student Union Building on the Auraria Campus in Denver. Keynote speakers include Eliot Schrefer, National Book Award Finalist for his novel Threatened, and Kekla Magoon, recipient of the Coretta Scott King New Talent Award and nominee for the NAACP Image Award. The conference will also feature a panel of local authors as well as sessions geared towards teen readers and writers, educators, and librarians.

The Teen Lit Conference is unique because it brings together young people and professionals to celebrate literature. It is also an extremely popular event that fills up quickly, so mark your calendars for February 1, when registration opens.
